2001 Polaris Sportsman 500HO. primarily used as a workhorse, usually pulling trailer or log splitter .most problems are due to it sitting a lot (less than 200 hrs on it). I have minimal mechanic skills but after being burnt by dealers a couple of times I do what I can with help from Youtube and forums.

Hello from Colorado. It's great you are willing to tackle your old Polaris yourself. These forums can help. You probably know the "brand discussion area" and then the Polaris brand. Ask questions there. Polaris is a huge seller of ATVs and there are many, many folks that work on their own machines. They are willing to help.
