Welcome to the forums.
My understanding of RI is that there are no legal trail systems in the state. Folks I've met here and there from RI and CT tend to ride in So. Maine or NH. VT is very slow to the party. Maine and NH have many systems where you can ride right into town for gas, food, bathroom, and even lodging.
