Yes, Line-X is a competitor to Rhino Liner.
It was $145 for the 2 racks, the front guard, both floorboards and the floorboard grippers. They waste a lot of material doing stuff like this he said. The gun puts out a 8-12 inch spray and goes all over the place. I thought the price was acceptable when compared to the "do it yourself" stuff and what it would have taken me to do them. I feel confident that this will hold up. Which is why I did it. My parts were getting all sctrached, chipped and rusty. I'll install the floorboards tonight. |

Maybe do the front screen and lower bumper too. That would look really good. I like how that looks. Very nice.

dirty is right, doin it yourself is somewhat labor intensive, but I considered it a labor of love. I did every silver piece except for the rear axle assembly.
front rack back rack front push bar front winch assembly floormounts its a pain in the but to do it yourself because the coating wont roll on and you cant even swipe a brush, you basically end up dabbing on with the end of a gunked up brush. but it beats cracked powder coat with rust peeking out any day. check my pics to see if you like. |

Well, if I had to do it again I might reconsider doing the floorboards. It was somewhat of a pain in the @ss getting them aligned. The material sprayed on raises the boards off the mount brackets and some of the side holes don't line up well. Not a problem if you drill out the holes a bit. It's more of an issue on the left side of the machine where the coolant overflow tank is. Once you get the floorboard back on, the tank can be reattached with the two base screws. However, the screw on the top right doesn't align with the hole now (due to the floorboard being raised). I had to drill a hole in the plastic to get it back in. Again, not a big issue, but something to consider. Maybe ask them to try and spray the boards as thinly as possible (on the bottoms). That might help if you really want them done.
Definitely clean out any holes that bolts go through before trying to assemble. If you can't spin the bolts with your fingers then you are probably going to have a hard time. Also, on the right side floorboard I had to trim the tab that slips into a notch on the floorboard. It needed to be made skinny to slip back into that coated notch. |
