hello again

when i turn the key i hear this noise that sounds like it is coming from the engine braking motor above the belt and it hesitates and doesnt sound smooth. could anyone help me out here.

Check ou the KEBC actuator's bushings, it's shoes, and that bearing on the outside of the drive pulley. You should be able to see or feel if one's not right.

 

i took it apart and the gears fell out. I put them back in and im not sure if they are in right but it sounds fine. I forgot to disconnect the battery and the motor span when i put the housing over it. When i took it off it started smoking and it took me about a minute to realize it and disconnect the battery. It seems to do what its suppose to do. Do you think I did any damage. Can anyone send me a picture of how those gears line back up in there?
