MINT 2002 Bayou 220 will not start / turn over
 

Ran all morning on and off and for no real reason I could determine died.

Here are the symptoms..
No neutral light
One click under seat nothing else
Good battery
All lights and brake lights work fine
No loose wires on battery or anythnig else under the seat or anywhere I could find
Recoil pulls but won't start (just too hard to pull easy enough to start)

What I have done so far
I thought I could go across solenoid with a screwdriver did nothing with key on
Tried the screw driver with key off and neutral light came on did not turn over just a click

Does have fresh oil and filter very clean kept in garage since new.

What should I do next? I would really like to repair myself and not take it in to the dealer.
