Diamond G carbon fiber intake system for the V!!

Hey guy's saw this post on another forum it's from Don at Diamond G his name on Kawie rider's is Bearman.

"We are now accepting orders for the carbon fiber intake system for the V force. It is very light and strong, winds itself forward and has a ram air effect. We have been testing for 2 months and have many hours of flow bench time. Quality of air is as important as quanity, this delivers maximum flow while keeping the air smooth for less turbulence. Retail price is $139.95 and we will post pictures as soon as we figure out how.
Bearman"

He doesn't have any pic's posted any where yet but I asked him if it look's like Adam Howell's carbon fiber hood cause that thing is sweet and menacing looking

See Adam's quad here: http://aerolite103.com/VForce2004/Ca...ber%20Hood.htm

Per Don (Bearman) "The web page is being updated now and should show the intake and unlimiter next week. The best way to order is 714 299 3865 or 714 773 4755 if all lines are busy I will call you back so please leave a message
Don"

This forum won't let me post a link to the other forum but it is for all of us "kawi riders" it's the first post under the KFX700/400 section.

I think you might be confusing the two. I believe what DG will be selling is just the snorkel. It will run from the airbox up towards the front where the radiator cap is, instead of turning backwards like the stock one. With the DG snorkel, Don told me he is suggesting you cut the six depressed areas out of the stock hood to let more air flow in.

Yep JJS your right I got an email from Don at Diamond G today.
It is as follow's:

"Diamond G Racing is proud to announce the release of our carbon fiber V-Force Air Intake System (snorkel).

The V-Force air inlet system in stock form is seriously restricted. We do not recommend drilling holes in your air box or lid. These down draft carburetors operate off vacuum to open the slides. Once holes are drilled in the box or lid, throttle response will suffer. We have the answer. Our high performance snorkel intake system will suck cold air from the front of the quad away from the engine making the most horsepower possible while retaining good throttle response. All of our R&D work is complete and we have these in stock.

The price is $139.95. Our order number is (714) 299-3865. We are currently updating our website. Thank you for your continued patronage."

I also emailed Adam Howell about his carbon hood shown here : http://aerolite103.com/VForce2004/Ca...ber%20Hood.htm

He emailed me back in about 30 min's said :
"you can order one direct from Carbon Man @ 248-255-5216 I think they are 169"

Might be a pretty cool set up if you ask me. I wonder if they will fit pretty good together or not?

Do these intakes allow more dust to pass into the air filter? Does the quad need to be jetted after installing the intake?
