Default Duals or 2 into 1?

Thanks for all the replies folks... after I add this I'm gonna hit bertram's site. Freez, while you're looking into things, don't forget to consider a "Harley-ish" pipe. I don't see why you couldn't shorten the longer pipe and point it down. It doesn't really need to go out the back of the bike.

You can't put a price on the coolness effect of a set of duals, plus the sound is flat-out intimidating.

Default Duals or 2 into 1?

All anyone talks about is dual pipes. There is a very nice 2 into 1 system made by power pro's. It's a ceramic coated stainless 2 into 1 pipe and it makes great torque. Here is a quote from "bearman" in another forum and I hope he won't mind me using it here to help inform fellow V Force owners.

We dynoed the Alien system, HMF system, Pro circuit, and Power pro. The first three were with in 1/2 half h.p of each other with the Alien the loudest of them all. Each of these pipes inched ahead of each other at different points in the rpm range. The HMF is not forestry approved even with the spark arrestor and is not rubber mounted. The Alien fit very well and is rubber mounted as does the Pro circuit and is rubber mounted as well. The surprise of the group was the power pros pipe. It is a single muffler two into one design and produced the most torque of any pipe tested and was within 1/2 peak hp of the dual exhaust. The power pro pipe was also the best sounding of all the pipes tested in my opinion.
