Default out run on my V

For what its worth, KOD did a very thorough primary spring evaluation on his P650 using several different primary springs. You can search for his thread on this forum entitled "Primary Spring Test, final results" or just click Here Of course, those tests were done on the P650 and do not necessarily give you accurate results for the V, but they might give you some idea of the differences between the various springs.

Happy trails...

I'd recommend the EPI Pink, or the HPD plain, the pink has a lower stall as well as lower shiftout rate than the HPD it's higher shiftout and higher stall. They should get to your door for less than 30.00 each, a cheap and impressive mod. Good luck
Here are some examples: Stock V spring: 0 lbs. @ 2.5" 136 lbs @ 1.25"
EPI Pink spring: 0 lbs.@ 2.5" 161 lbs @ 1.25"
Dalton Blue : 3 lbs@ 2.5" 155 lbs @ 1.25"
HPD Plain : 55 lbs @ 2.5" 216 lbs @ 1.25" Hope this helps some...Ride On-Mudfoot
