Default hmf quiet core problems??

I have a problem with the quiet cores on my V .... but not with the durability.

My problem is that they are not QUIET !!! using my db meter .... and the
US Forest test ( 20 inches, 45 degrees ... etc) they at about 100 db's.

Second ... they are not approved my the US Forest Dept .... so they would not
let me on the sand dunes in MI last summer.

yes ... I did check that once ... my memorie is that it was over 110 db. If I make a couple of runs through my field without the cores, the police will be here in within about 30 minutes, telling me that about 3 or 4 neighbors had called them.

The township noise level is different than the US Forest. The maximum noise I am allowed to make is
85 db at 50 feet. It is close with the cores in .... close enough i guess, the neighbors don't call
the police with the cores in.

I wish HMF would come out with something that is approved by the US Forest Dept so that when I go to the Hatfield/McCoy trails I don't have to put the stock pipe on to go.
