please help with leaky coolant

Default please help with leaky coolant

[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] there is coolant coming from a small tube under the left side of my prairie650 also their is a bunch of steam comig out from under the front plastic area. the coolant levey is at full and the temp warning light never comes on just need to know any suggestion that would help to see if its something i can do or should let the dealer do it thanx for any help.

It sounds to me it's your overflow on your reserve tank. I would keep your eye on the level when it's cool. i don't think this is a issue; if it doesn't stop then yes but i think it's just a tad over filled. The steam up front could be an issue, look for leaks and watch that level. the steam could also be ice etc... above your rad melting etc... check for a smell like burning rad fluid (sweat smell).

Moosin I just had the water pump replaced on my 02 p650 ,had water and oil mixing .The shop guy told me that there is a bleeder hole on the water pump the has a hose in the same area you are speaking of.Where water starts coming out of it , it is time to replace the water pump.Mine never leaked it blew the seal and went into the crankcase.
