a stock mojave runs about 54mph and with an exhaust and 13t sprocket it will run about 57-60mph.
There is alot of good exhaust systems for the mojave my favorite is the white bros. or supertrap.

My son just asked me what the Top speed for his Mojave should be we have clocked it at 100km really tight would say more likely around 97.(60.29 m/h) But after a few miles it start to skip and oil blows in the filter. The shop says it's the rev limiter kicking in.
Why after 1 year does this start? it's stock gear & piston. I did the engine mself.
If He pust a suppertrap on this will only add to his problem ,Correct.
Thanks

I discourage the DG Chromepower Exhaust (which I unfortunately paid $170.00 for). It makes much more power & torque than stock BUT there is no restriction so it's way too loud. Not just loud, one of the loudest ATV's on the trail; and it gets old very quickly!

solid_fun, I am by no means a technical expert, But, I think the rev limiter kicks in because it's suppose to if your hitting the top end of the revs. It's keeps you from blowing up your engine.
There are quite a few guys on here that might be able to answer your questions if you post them separately? I really like my supertrapp, it's not to loud, In ca. you can't be over 96dbs and I know I'm not over that, it doesn't drive me crazy when I open it up and can no longer hear myself think. After I put the k&n on with the rejet, I was really impressed with the way it felt when I accelerated. Now, I like speed, but, I prefer to accelerating part better JMO Dan

as for as the pipe goes the white bros pipe sounds awesome. it adds a alot to the bottom end with the filter and jet kit. if you have the 13t sprocket you will have everything. the only problem i have found is the pipe slightly rubs the tires when i bottom out. i have a 250r shock(not dialed in yet) and 20-11-10 holeshotes on douglas 190`s. if you tweak things around i am sure you could bypass the problem(not enough time yet).

it's always had a rev limiter.....youv'e just never revved it high enough to hit it. As for the smoke. Theres a small clear tube that hangs below the airbox above the swingarm. It has a plug in it. Pull the plug to drain the box and reinstall the plug.
