Default brakes

i have 980miles and 180 hours on my machine and the brake fluid has been slowly going down (its now about half full) whats going on with it? i checked all over and i couldn't find any leaks and the brakes still work pretty good, there is a slight drag if i hold the brakes at a given point for any length of time but if i put more pressure on the lever it will start stopping again. could my pads need replaceing? i plan on filling it back up sometime this week to see what it does. any ideas?

It might be leaking slowly. I had my cap off and didn't put in on tight and slowly it leaked. I don't see your pads gone in 1500km. It's posssible if you don't clean em and you are in the mudd too much.

It's probably pad wear, allowing the fluid level to slowly drop as the pistons in the brake cylinders move to compensate for the wear.
