meguiar's vs armor all

I live at 7000 ft elev and the sun is really intense. Trailride at up to 12,000 ft. The last gallon I bought was meguiar's because my bud said it was better than armor all. It's more expensive and kind of hard to find. I have had good luck with both of them and am getting ready to do my vehicles and house plastic against the summer sun. Anyone see any difference between the two?

Get the brand of your choice , as long as it has a U.V. protectant in it. When I got my Sportsman in '01, a Bud of mine got one the day before . I use Turtle wax U.V. or "303" ( from summit) also have a plastic polish with U.V. inhibitor-- mine still shines, his does'nt--he just washed his----Also the spray silicone polish stuff fills small scratches,is an anti static--I use it on the V-Force--I will try to remember where I got it.

There really isnt much to compare between the two except that they are sold for the seme purpose.

I have not used armorall since I first tried it because its nothing more than a greasy mess that attracts dirt like a magnet.

I dont know which meguiars you are using but try their #40 as it is one of the better brand name protectants (and also a mild cleaner) and will not build up like the other one.

303 is the best period. I know folks that worked at the Armor All plant and they do not recomend it. The chemicals in it would deterorate finger nails of the workers too. Loaded with silicone. I use 303 on my Roll-N-Lock bed cover and it is a much better product.

This is my Truck Page http://users.adelphia.net/~allen22/1Truckpage_2.htm.
Note the 303 on the tires side walls only. Applied lightly and dry raged it's not glossy or wet, looking like it will run off. The bed cover and rail caps has 303 applied to them as well. The bed cover is over 2 years old.

I too just ordered the 303.

I have the exact same setup on my truck bed as yours (different brand names) except for the spoiler(?) on the tailgate. Does it help gas mileage and where did you get it? Your truck looks good.
