I bought a low priced winch for my ATV and that's exactly what I got and now the damn thing is not working, either water got in it or whatever,the winch was not waterproof!

I want to know if anybody out there has a Warn winch for sale,the 2.5 series,I don't think I need a winch with more power than that.I missed out on getting the $69 deal on a winch when I bought my Praire new,I bought my 650 in April and the deal on the Warn winch came out in May or June. PM me,

Anybody have any suggestions where to look online for a decent deal on a winch? I went on ebay and found a couple of ebay dealers selling Warn Winches,has anybody out there had any experience with buying something like that from ebay?

No offense VforceStan but you can buy a new one from ATV Direct for $.05 less. I'll give you $250 for it, though.

 

Man..I cant do that[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img]. I paid 350.00 for it a few months ago and never installed it. Its still in the boxes. What I can do is is 325.00 and I'll cover shipping within the continental US. You are still saving money. Im pretty sure its still well under warranty. I have the orginal receipts.....Let me know.

Is the mounting kit the same for the P650 and P700?

 

Warn says the part number is the same. Frame is the same (P650/P700).

 

Is the Warn 2.5 winch waterproof?

 

If looking for a winch??? Ebay has a ramsey winch 2500lbs wireless remote. for 295.00 with free shipping. Which iv'e bought two of in the last week for a friends ATV plus mine an there working great..The only down fall is that instead of getting a rocker swith, you get a water proof toggle switch.. And the winchs are water proof seeing mine has be under the water alot...

 

Thanks for the info,I haven't decided on what brand of winch yet,I know ramsey is a Brand name and as long as it's waterproof that's the main thing I'm looking for. I had a Superwinch on my P400 and that turned into crap in no time at all.It did last longer than the bargain basement winch I installed on my P650 but I am done fooling around with the cheap stuff.I hate going riding and wondering that if I get stuck will my winch work.
