UPS girl came today, CDI was shipped on the 7th, not to bad from Cal. to Tn, been raining cats and dogs here so I will post my review after this weekend, all you guy's still waiting, hang on, it will arrive........

I orders mine on the 2 of this month..... how can i find out when it will be shiped?

 

I called them yesterday and asked if it had been shipped, she said ,"hold please" came back in a minute and said was shipped last week on the 7th and said she would give me a tracking number if i wanted it, I said No, just wanted to know if it shipped, she said don't count the weekends as business days and I should have it by Wed ( tomorrow) it came today (Tues) at about 1:30pm, call them and ask for the tracking number if it has been shipped......626-963-1669.......

 

Stakk- Mine comes tomorrow can't wait. Are you going to windrock for the spring fling next weekend? SHould be a blast. I hope to go for at least one day. Maybe both.

 

OK I got it in, quick review of riding for about 15 min's, only on the paved road beside my house........first my 700 is stock except for ATR'S........I had my air screws set at 2 turns, stock calls for 1 1/2, it was idleing a little rough so I set them at 2 1/2 turns out, perfect idle now.........low end feels like a module, mid range pull is definitely stronger, and it rev's quicker.........I was able to get 46 mph in low range with the stock CDI and that was it, with the dyna I got it up to 50 mph and let off as it was winding pretty high. LOL. so I gained at least 4 mph in low, and I know it would have pulled 2-3 more mph if I had held it, but with only 450 miles, I'll let it loosen up a little more..........OK, high range speed, I have not had enough road to check absolute top speed yet but I will soon..........The best I have done on this stretch of road when I pass a certain telephone pole is 62 mph (stock) which was quick already for the distance it is....with the dyna, I passed the same pole at 67mph!!!! I have NOT had to re-jet, it feel's perfect I will ride it on the trails this weekend and try to test max top speed........I feel confident that my 700 Pra will pull about 72-73 mph with the CDI now........more detailed report will come after this weekend...........

 

Hey Guys! I'm way up here on the east coast of Canada and I got my CDI today!! no time to install right now.....be patient it will come.....mine was shipped on the 12th

brownstr - I'm extremely curious. What did the CDI cost after shipping, brokers fees, tax, etc?
