ge4x4, you beat me too it.

It looks like 10 1/2 inches for clearance, hardly enough to switch my 650 for with a complete 10 (lowest spot on skidplate)with 27 589's. The Cat tried to beat me the other day and I think I might have done better, he never lost me and got stuck where I did. (tied)

I would like to have that power though. Might wait for Yami to bring their V out and see what they have, I bet it will have more than 10 1/2 inch clearance.

The Brute does look tuffer and I bet it is, that 's worth trading the Prairie in as far as I am concerned. I hate broken plastic, hope they tested it in -30C weather because I will be out in it. I will be chewing my finger nails when I see her on the showroom floor, trading is TOO easy with those damn credit lines.(lol)

Looks like 800cc's is going to be the limit just like it is now. The bore is bigger, not the stroke. So the limitation is still there, right?

Single range but it shows two ranges in the gear ratio specs????

Its wider, longer and taller. Shorter wheelbase.

I don't know about this quad, I think I like my praire better.

I don't know why some of you guys are dissin' th BF so bad. Kawie could have left the Prairie alone as it's argueably the best quad on the planet. But they actually listened to us, the consumers, and give us the Brute Force. It's everything the Prairie is (and isn't) and more.

So what if the Prairie is now called the Workhorse? We all know what an all around capable machine it really is and so does the competition. Just think about how funny it will be when the competition is embarassed by the "Workhorse"! I can't wait untill next years magazine shoot-outs. Besides, I always thought "Prairie" sounded kind of lame.

Just think, all of rhe current Prairie opposers won't have a leg to stand on when they're talkin' smack about Kawie's. My Sportsman this, Grizzly that, Rincon can, blaahh, blaahh, blaahh. Kawie now has the TWO best 4x4's on the market!
