Dyna CDI and DG Advance Key??????
#1
I have had a DG3 module and the DG advance key on a P700. Now I am getting my Dyna CDI tomorrow. I have pulled the DG3 module off and put it on a friends P650 but was wondering if I can run the DG advance key and the Dyna CDI without a problem? Anybody have this setup running?

I am almost positive you can run the CDI with the 4* key.
I'm pretty sure the Dyna only goes 33* + 4* key =37*
I now that a prairie will take 37* on pump gas.(SUPER 93)
You will need to jet up a bit.
My 650 had 36/37* of timing and it was a animal!
It will definatly have more power everywhere, and more topend, should be in mid 70's.
IF YOU HAVE A 6* KEY DONT TRY IT, YOU MIGHT HAVE A DETETNATION PROBLEM!
MAKE SURE IT HAS SUPER 93 IN THE TANK!

I was about to install the key but with paying for gaskets and labor it would be $200. Then if I decide to take it back out it would be another $200. Would be cheaper to buy the dyna cdi for me. Will the key work with the cdi?

KawiTuner, will a person really see that much more "if any" improvement by going that high on the advance? If so then what would be the optimum limit to shoot for? I have a DG 4 degree key that I will be installing Monday. That will only give me 32.

Alltoys your thoughts? If the dyna CDI is around 33* and you add the 4* key your looking at 37*ish How much more is that 4*key really going to give you?? I was told MAYBE one or two miles per hour on the top end and thats it?? Is it just me or doesnt it seem one or the other is the way to go? I beleave KawiTuner when he said his is an Animal, and mine for what I have in it right now is an animal also but what kind of animal our we talking? tiger-vs-tiger maybe one just missing a tooth?~LOL.. Its seems unless I go big bore there is not much more to squeeze out??
