Default jetting for kfx400

These are the mods that effect the jetting, i dont have alot of stuff done yet. no air box lid stock exhaust with the fire end cap on and a K$N air filter. I bought a dyno jet kit and dont know which sizes would be best for 0-300 feet above sea level.

Any help we be great.

Go with the suggestions in the Dyno kit. With a K+N, no lid and a full Big Gun exhaust I ended up being most happy with the included needle jet and the recommended MJ. It's been awhile and i don't recall which jet I used, the 400 has since been sold to a friend. I do remember that I tried going large on the MJ at first and it fell on it's face at WOT. Bottom line is that I ended up downsizing the MJ to the one they listed to try first in the directions and it worked out best for me. I ride at anywhere from 800-1700' above sea level here so you should be fairly close. Ditto that on the fuel screw. I set mine on what they indicated as a starting point and it worked fine.

If need be, I could pull the carb and tell you which MJ I used. Start on the lower end and watch for signs of being excessivly lean IMHO.
