does anyone have an opinion on the lakotas? I was offered a 98 lakota for 2000. Is that a decent deal? any help is apprecaited

kbb list it as 2280. what does it look like. what kind of riding are you going to use it for?

looks like brand new exept for a bit of rust on the rear pipe. Im planning on using it for hunting fishing and trail riding. have you rode an automatic shift model? I mean one that you shift without a clutch. It doesent see as smooth as a klutch......

if you noticed i have a lakota so yes i have ridden a auto clutch before and i think my 230 is a bit smoother but the lakota is a lot eaiser to ride in tight fast trails. I think the lakota would fit your needs do you have any othere quads?

thats good too hear. Ive bought and sold a few over the years. but I still have a yamaha moto four in my garage that has electrical problems Ive taken that quad too the shop twice already to have it fixed but wires keep shorting out so I have no idea what the deal is with that quad. Do any huntig in utah?
theres a few nice ones running around here in Penn...I saw a buck a few doe and three fawns eating apples in my yard today. cant wait till season.........

Go for it. That is a decent deal as long as it is in good shape. They are smooth just not as peppy in my opinion.
