I top out at 59 with stock tires and 57 with mud lights by the speedometer, which is also probably high. This is with the plain white spring. Did the same with blue spring. Best I have ever seen was 62,before the key change. It does seem to spin pretty good. If I wheelie, I let up slightly and can't get it up again so my wheelies or only a couple feet.

I suspect that something is amiss with your tuning. How fast did it go when it was dead stock? You should get in the 65mph range on a long stretch of road.

I did not really try it dead stock. Maybe with my 290 lbs. slows it down. I am jetted pretty high but seemed to gain 2 mph after the jet kit.

I think I should quite worrying so much and just have fun, Just that I want to make sure it is as good as it can be with what I have. I only get 58 now with the original tires. Am going to take it in to the shop one last time and then just be happy.

With dg3 and key twin air filter, after mods I can hit 65-66 on a long stretch.
I wonder what tire sizes do to the speedo. I also am at 4,500 feet, at sea level that 66 may be 68-69.
You out weigh me by about 40 lbs and that could be 3-4 mph difference. (guess)
Have someone smaller ride the machine? If they get the same result than it could be a machine problem.
