Are the CDI Units that Dynatek makes for the Prairie and the TwinPeaks the same??? They sell one for each not one that fits both!

Is there a better brand such as FST, or DG3??? out there, if so why is it better, and where can you get it at?

The dyna CDI is exactly the same for the 03 650 and 04-05 P/TP 700s. As far as I know dynatech is the only people makeing a CDI for these atv's. Its worth every penny!...

Actually the Dyna is a full CDI unit that replaces your OEM unit. Modules wire into the OEM cdi.

If you go with the Dyna make sure to keep your stock CDI with you. A friend of mine had his Dyna to quit on him, it melted!

The Dynatek cdi and 4 degree key may be the way to go.
Don't know what kind of stress the two do yet on the engine.
Speed and power is substantial over stock cdi and just a 4 degree advance timing key. I tested this today. There was a 5-6mph increase in 330 feet.
Speed and power over DG3 and 4 degree key is less but also good at 330 feet 2 MPH.

The Dynatek cdi on its own I have no info. but there is many other post about it if you search Dyna CDI.

Minimus, that sounds fun getting that much gain. I may have to upgrade to dynatec, Was thinking about the web cam first but much easier for the cdi.
