Welcome to the forum, and ATVing! If you are new to the sport, then perhaps you should take the time to get to know your mahcine really well before you take to modifying it, it's a very powerful machine! After you get used to it, I'm sure the fellas here will tell you how to spend your money! Again, Welcome!

You can do a search on your question and come up with a couple of fairly consistent complaints about the BF. Then put your BF in those situations and see if it has any problems. If so, get it back to the dealer asap, since Kawasaki likes to blame everything on wear, which the warranty doesn't cover.

Remember, neither the dealer or Kawasaki are your friends. No use treating them like they are. Demand satisfaction if you have a problem.

That said, Kawasaki makes a great quad. Have fun with your BF after checking it out....I would like to have one myself.

I guess the BF isn't slang for boyfriend huh?

I wasn't sure at first, then assumed it was a quad but then wasn't sure gain when I read "should I do the BF to better it"? part of the sentence...

What was missing.

Dictionary Search Results: a grammatical word used in direct and indirect questions to request further information, for example, about the identity or nature of somebody, or about the purpose of something

The intake valve is very accessible, I'm getting a snorkel put on mine. I got water in my intake and I wasn't in that much water, there is no guard from the front wheels. I haven't got mine back yet. But everything has its flaws. Other than that I love it, it's the baddest one out now.

Like someone said above, take alot of time and learn the machine before you start modding it. It is a big and very powerful ATV and you should take the time to gat a feel for that weight and power before you make it even more powerful. I've already wrecked once on it because I was so used to smaller, lighter, and less powerful ATVs that I did not realize how much of beast the BF is. And that was with 350 miles on it! Welcome to our world!
