Balancing ITPs with ATR's?
 

I recently upgraded to ITP Cseries on 25 inch ATR's and installed a DG5 power module. Now when I wind it up I am getting some vibration up front making the handlebars shake some. I didn't notice it before, but I am going faster with the DG5 on there so who knows? I know I can just turn the DG5 off but i just cant do it!

Has anyone ever heard of balancing the wheels and tires like they do for a car?

Yes I hear of several people are balancing their tires. I have ATR's that cause a steering wobble at higher speeds. I have not balanced because it feels more like the tire tread design than a tire out of balance. Let me know how you make out. Other than that I love The ATR.

I too would like to ballance my ATR's, I can no longer go faster than 55MPH or I will die! lol, I have a serious wobble at 55, shakes the handlebars so bad I have to get out of it. I was wondering if I could use stick-on weights. I just called the local tire place and he acted like I was nuts "ballance an ATV tire? we can't ballance an ATV tire" wonder where folks are having this done?

If the rim is 12" or bigger you can balance them.

I wonder if SLime or something like it would help or hurt the balance??
