Radial ATV Tires

Hello everybody, after having my mudlites( great wearing tire and great traction) on my quad for a year now I am considering changing to a radial tire. My tire of choice so far is the new ITP Wetlands Radial. Any advice regarding atv radial tires would be much appreciated. How durable are they, how much traction to they give you, is the ride that much better, etc. Thank you.

I have 3 sets... the ITP ATR's, the Carlysle Badlands, & the Goodyear MTR's... all are great riding tires, & perform excellent for their type of terrain... I currently like to use the rear 26" MTR's for drag racing on the asphalt strip... & have been using the 25" X 11" rear Badlands, with the ATR fronts for a great trail ride set up... I have seen pics of the Wetlands, but have no expirience with them... don't they look kind of like a radial Mud Lite ???

there are several new radials coming on the market currently, & in the near future, to keep an eye on as well...

I have had ATR's for over a year. Radials work real well on the Prairie. The only thing I don't like is the wobble at higher speeds on pavement. I'm currently in the process of buying a set of Goodyear MT/R's from a Arctic Cat owner. The Goodyears are OEM on the AC 650's. People complain about the sidewalls being to soft on radials ecspecially the Goodyear. I like the Wetland also. Are these made by ITP or Maxxis. I've heard it bothways. Does anyone know for sure.

ATR's wobble around 55MPH. I like everything about my ATR's except the wobble. Carlisle Badlands came on my 700EFI and they sucked - but they didn't wobble. they had no traction and punctured very easy. I think Carlisle makes another Badland tire, an XTR or something, that one is a supposed to a better tire than the regular Badland.

I have some MTRs and they are a great trail tire just not a mud tire. They are for sale as well. E-mail me if interested. mattgarrett@comcast.net

The wetlands are made by Carlisle which also owns ITP, these tires are marketed under three brand names.....The wetlands ducks unlimited..........the Carlisle ACT which will come on many '05 Bombardier's.....and the polaris PXT radial on the new Sportmans all ahve the same tread and are the same tire different names only......while the wetlands and polaris are 26 inch tall the Carlisle act brand for the Bomb's are 25 inch............

I saw the wetlands at this site, but I haven't had a chance to look at any of the others yet. They look like the have an aggressive design.
