kaw. bayou 4x4 won't start?
 

Help! I just bought a 1990 bayou 4x4 "300" and can't get it to start. The battery is dead and I used a jump-box to try to crank it. Neutral light comes on but nothing happens when I push the start botton, no buzz or nothing. The carb. is leaking too, I'll clean out the carb. when I get it to running a little. any help is appreciated.

If bike has been sitting awhile, you need to take off bowls & jets out and give them a good cleaning and put in some fresh gas. Cleaning your bowls and adding fresh gas will keep your engine from sucking in crud, syrupy old gas, or something that clogs your jets

Check your battery for voltage & charge or replace & check your plugs, fuses, battery cables. Trying to jump start it could have blown a fuse or melted something. Make sure your bike is in neutral & engine kill switch is not engaged[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

I got it to run, it cuts of when the carb. bowl overflows though. I guess I will take it down and clean it. thanks for the help.
