I was talking to one of his sponsers today on the phone to find out when a release of that product would be out. He said they were still working with Mike on it, so it could be a another month or so. As we were talking he mention about making it for Mike's Yamaha for this upcoming season, so that make would be the first to come out. (I need it for my SP800) I don't want to mention this product, because I don't know if this is public knowlege or not. But it sounds like Penland who was once green is feeling a little blue right now.

I think he is feeling a little yellow, and about ready to puke.
If any rumors are near true, it will be a 811 cc or so twin inline not v, with sra not irs.

I think it serves Kawasaki right; their short sightedness will come back to bite them. I can't wait to see what Penland's new ride is like.

Well unless this quad comes out, I don't think he can race it. He runs the utility stock class, and there is no stock quad like that yet.

GE4x4, rumor is Yamaha is coming out with it.
The 800 cc class has been talked about for some time in the yame's group, and like you said unless Yamaha comes out with it
Penland most likely won't be on it.

yamaha is doing the rest of r-d on a new utillity atv. suppose to be 750+cc and it will have the option of irs or sra ym uncle lives a couple miles from the yamaha r-d center and he says he has seen it a couple times on ymaha's trails. he said it sounds a million times better than any other big bore quad.

What ? totally incorrect, I called mike this morning to check on a order. I asked about other racing possibilities and he said NO other company has made a offer to him for factory racing.

GSXRPred, that’s interesting maybe rumors are just that, no more than rumors.
And maybe wake-up kawi but that’s doubtful. Since they killed the race team to save a couple bucks , I look for them to go bankrupt in a year or two.

How many people do you think really purchase an atv because of Penland , I bet there is very few, there is very few people in these forums that race harescrambles or that form of racing , it was nice of kawie to do what they did for so long but there is no doubt that more people will see tv commercials than see GNCC racing. I personally would like to see more atvs on the market and more TV time. The contengency program was a lot bigger of a deal than sponsoring one person or team.

I Don't Blame him, People have to pay the bills. Just glad there are people out ther you can call for info that are down to earth and provide some parts they race & help develop for our quads.
