this doesn't sound right

hey I recentlay started jetting my carbs and messed arond with the needles etc.I pretty much have it dialed in (I think)but when it idles it "misses"
sounds like it's sucking air???
do I have it to lean? or do I have a vaccum leak?
I tried filming it but for some reason it keeps giving me a 3g2 format???

anyways anyone got any ideas?
thanks
Bud

Anything at idle is going to be in the pilot circuit, If you do not have a vacuum leak which is possible since the carbs have been apart and the slides out I would try adjusting your pilot air screws out a 1/4 turn and see if it clears up, If it gets better try a little more until it is right, Just dont go over 3 1/2 turns out that is about the limit, I think stock they are at 1 3/4 turns.

Ensure your Throttle slide springs are not binding, your carbs are mounted snuggly in manifold boots, clamps/nuts tight on manifold boots and all your vaccum lines are connected & routed correctly in your airbox. Double check airbox to ensure filter is clean & airbox lid clamped down correctly.

If its popping in airbox after you have backed out mixture screw you need to shim or raise your needles.
