What's up with Maxxis tires?
 

It took me about 7 different tire places to find some All-Traks. When I did find some they only had 1 set and it cost me a lot more to get them. I also heard they stoped making the bighorns. Are they going out of business or get bought out or something?

All tracks just arent all that popular so not as many places carry them. The bighorns had a bad batch and they stopped making them just long enough to fix it. And since Maxxis isnt its own company to begin with, I dont see them getting bought out.

Maxxis Tire isnt going out of business and there are 2 or 3 places I know off hand where you can still find the all-trac's- rockymountian.com and treaddepot.com. Maxxis now has three sizes in the Big Horns you can get as well. Most of the tire companies are all under one or two umbrella's and even make tires for one another. Carlisle owns ITP, Cheng Shin owns Maxxis , they make tires for GBC etc. etc. Most of the Tire Conpanies in our industry are kickin butt and making good money! There is even a Company coming out in full force this summer selling colors like Blue, Red, Green and Yellow ATV tires. Oh lets not forget camo!-LOL ~coop

Howdy,
I just put a pair of Maxxis Big Horns on the back of my pickup. They are 16" all terrain tires. I did notice that they are made in Taiwan. Have a goodun!!
