Default Brute Force 750 belt slipping?

I just got my Brute Force last week ( 5 hrs on it now) and was trying to pull a dead tree stump- something that my friends Grizzly wouldnt have a problem with on a bad day- and when I would get the winch cable tight and pull on it in reverse, the tires wouldnt spin, the engine would just rev and it felt like something was wrong. I think its the belt also, because I see on here how everybody pulls wheelies so easy and I cant get it off the ground- (I do have 27" Tires though) What does this sound like to ya'll?

Maybe rev limiter, or reverse is geared to high compared to the Yam A Hammer. Did you smell rubber?

No I didnt smell anything- it was more like it wasnt getting any power to the wheels- When the grizzy trys to pull something that is to heavy for it, it spins the tires (27 ITP's)
I know that this stump wasnt to heavy for the Brute but it wont even spin the tires when its trying to pull

sounds like belt slip to me. I have had some recently with out the rubber smell.
to the point the belt like has come on. 238 hrs. i guess it should be worn out. I pulled the cover
off today, belt looked good. So I put the cover back on and now the rev limiter is on, the belt
light blinks and i'm frustrated.

Kawis are not intended to pull heavy loads in reverse even with reverse override. Always use low forward gear fror any heavy use or slow trail riding below 30 MPH. Same goes for wench. Lock your quads brake and use remote winch button if possible. Winch Cables are extremely dangerous & can be fatal if they break, come loose & slingshot back & hit you.

This revlimiter is activating in lo and hi forward motion. look in the broke belt forum and grizzkiller has posted the fix for resetting the computer.. pop the side cover and you will need this fix.
