Default KFX-700 Performance Mods

Hi all new to the forum. I have a 04 KFX-700 with a K&N airfilter and was just curious what would be some other mods that would actually be worth spending money on. I have researched a dual alien exhaust kit. Is this the best one for the KFX or not. Any info or any input would be helpful. Thanks

Probally any mod to a kfx 700 would be worth it. I know cwr has a 900 BB kit for them which I couldnt imagine the power that thing would have, thier pretty fast the way it is stock. The air filter is good and jet it when you get a pipe, that little bit would be worth the money deffinitly. I'm not to sure about pipes for it probally white bros carbon pros, pro circuit t-4 and the aliens are all decent pipes its just what the kfx responds to better which I dont own one so I would have no clue to which one it likes. Hope this helps out a bit.

I have HMF pipe's on my KFX700.... I have heard good things about the Muzzy pipe...
For $20 you can change your primary sping to a EPI pink or a Dalton blue/orange... For a few dollars more you can change the clutch weights and install a Dalton overdrive clutch cover
After you put the pipe's on you will want to open up the air box a bit and rejet the carbs, witch is very easy....
After that you can install a little bit bigger cam...
Advance the timing or install an aftermarket CDI....

The KFX really responds well to the Muzzy 2 into 1 exhaust from what I'm told. I am getting ready to do mine. Jetting up and the 12 hole airbox mod will work good with an exhaust and the clutch spring will help by increasing shiftout or adding stall. If drag racing is your thing, then the dalton orange/blue is a good spring. The EPI almond, pink or maroon are also good choices. If you go on kawieriders.com, they say that v-force John does a great stage 2 clutch mod and there are also tons of internal mods as well!
