Default BF750 Gear Choice

So I got a wonderful BF750(green) and now have about 200miles on it. I bought one of those cooler rack bags for the rear. I had it one day and after some whoops and jumps less than 10ft high the velcro straps tore off of it. Anyone have a suggestion for a much much more sturdy rack container which can hold some cold beverages.

Also looking to add a Warn 2.5, Richochet Skids, ITP Type 7 w/ Mud Lites......any suggestions?

The CDI and Pipe are nice to have but if this thing goes any faster I wont be able to hold on.

ahh, bags and boxes. always a hard decision. my brother has a box on the back of his prairie and it comes in handy but feels cumbersome. i like bags but i never really find one i totally like. first i had Fieldline, they are ok but limited in their choices. next was a moose 3 compartment padded bottom bag. lasted quite a while(still have it) but after some seriously hard miles some of the tiedowns ripped off. now i have a IPI 3 compartment padded bottom bag with cover. it is some what waterproof and keeps the dust out better than the moose. none of these were really any good at keeping drinks cold though. check out Kolpin, they make some decent bags but are expensive. as for the rest of your brute, the best thing would be a winch(warn 2.5 and the ramsey 2500 are both good)as big and bad as the brute is it will get stuck or other riders will and they can be invaluable. skids are a good idea as well but i went with 27" mudlites and i really dont hit any rocks. check out axeracing, proarmor, highlifter, and aluminum products. they all make skids for the brute but i am also leaning towars ricochet. the cdi and pipe sound nice but i dont think the extra power is needed imo. good luck with the brute and good choice. i find its alot of fun. all u have to do to keep a bag on the rack is cut some ply wood that fits in the bag. Then use some u-bolts and bolt the bag to the rack. The bolts would go around the rack and then up threw the bag and then ply wood. Then all i did was put some hook in the ply wood so that i can hold my stuff down and it wont fly all over the place. Works Good!!!

Hey Grizz thanks. So you dont have any problems with the 27" tires on the Brute? Seems to be a lot of chatter about breaking tie-rods with anything over 25". Did you notice any difference in take of speed? I am already disappointed that I can pull wheelies on demand without shifting into low.

i run the 27's no problem. i know there is alot of talk of bad tie rods and ends. i had no issues with the tie rods or ends but to be on the safe side i did put Diamond G rods & ends. i do have more miles on the stock ones but i havnt had a problem with either one. the stocks do look way to small and and the ends felt a little loose after i took them off. the speedo is off a tad and top end feels a little slower but there is so much power on tap here its hard to notice. i still took my friends Z-400 off the line with the bigger tires. my belt is due for tightening soon as well but i can still pull wheelies in low. i think radials will be the next tire, thats the way to go. these mudlites do tear up the mud though.

I am using the moose utility series bag and love it, I put on supergrip wheels and tires 27" 450 shipped on ebay! they are a 1" offset rim took out the tippyness and look great only power mods I have done are an epi black secondary spring and a moose module I have way more power than I'll ever need! only thing I lack is skids and snorkels I also have the warn 2500lb winch and it has been used many times and was easy to install good luck ! I have pics of my brute on my pic page

Bruteforcebob,
Can you tell me what exactly, the tire and wheel combo is on your bf?
It looks awesome...

I too have the Moose padded three pocket bag, it is not as waterproof as I would like but it has held up well other than that. A buddy of mine has bolted a small rubbermaid box to his rack, it keeps his stuff dry, and will keep drinks cold when used as a cooler, but it is in the way alot. He uses his BF more for hunting, but removes the box, for playtime.

thanks, its the supergrip wheel/tire combo, the tires are alot like mudlites but they are self sealing and have a rim guard so you dont bang up the good lookin wheels lol, they were only 480 shipped on ebay, wheels tires lugs and centercaps they are 27/12/12 and 27/10/12s each wheel and tire combo was only like 35lbs I think when they shipped them
