Hi!! Is the Dyantek FS CDI the same for the kawi 650/700 and the BF750? Also, will the Moose plug in module, HL module (solder) and the Dyna FS all give the same power results? Thanks in advance.

No and No. The cdi's perform better than the modules.

all modules do is advance the timing back full power up to 5mph then from there it does nothing, a cdi works through the entire powerband

Many of the cdi's, for example my dyna, also remove the reverse limiter, remove the limp mode, and bump up the rev limiter. Most of the modules work good but generally the cdi's are worth the extra money.

Great, thanks for the info. So I'll skip on the Moose module also. Looks like a Dyna for me. Are they still having problems with the earlier dynas like in the old posts on this board? Thanks again.

I'm been using the dyna cdi off my 03p650 on my bf750 with no problems for about six months now. I know of a few people that have done the same. You can not use the cdi from the 02p650.
