Well despite the name, as of Monday I will be the owner of a '06 KFX400. I don't see much mention of the KFX400's on the Kawasaki forum here. Do many people have them? Or does everyone just go to the Suzuki forum?

 

Yeah i notice also,there isn't much talk on the kfx's,but i'd say that most go to the suzuki forum.Congrats on the new ride man.

 

Ya ive been looking on both forums, im currently looking for a kfx/z400. Soon as a find a dealer willing to deal Im going to buy one.

 

im also looking into getting a kfx 400 i LOVE THEM, i just need to get a job but being 15 its semi hard, looks as i got a job in a dog groomers lined up with a family friend...god i hope i get the job ill get a kfx pay for it myself[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

There is a few reasons why I decided to buy one. 1) my friends have '03 Z400's and I like them, 2)the 05/05's are supposed to be faster and they have many new parts, such as shocks, brakes, cam, valves, and a re-inforced frame and 3) I work at a Kawi dealer and I got it for a deal.

 

I have one, although the only way you can tell is the KFX on the bar clamp!

 

arent z400's and kfx 400's the same thing ?(peformance) well i like the green and orange kfx.....but the yellow z is decent looking to[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img] my opinion

 

Z400, KFX400, DVX400 all the same bike.

 

If I were you guys I would wait to buy one now. There is a HUGE problem is the MAG side cover (water pump side) rotting out and it's leaking into the engine. The only fix as of right now is to replace it with an aluimumn side cover. I'm sure suzuki will be recalling all 2005's and 2006's.

 

I bought mine in 2003, to this day not one complaint. Been 100% since day one. Congrats on your new ride.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
