Default KFX700 carb backfire

I have been having a misfire/backfire/popping whatever you wanna call it in my 04 VForce. Started last year, does it when idle and a steady rev. With the aircleaner removed I can see the misfire in the rear carb. I saw a needle TSB on the Brute Force but have not seen anything for the Vforce.

I just replaced plugs (gap @ 7.5mm) and full tune, no diff.

Anyone else hear of this before or know of a fix?
