The machine has been the same for a few years now. Why is it so hard to make accessories for it? When you look at the kawi website, the 2007 brute force accessories, most of them say "TBA", and the rest just show the storage canister.

 

I hear you on this one. I have tried to lead a one man crusade for Kawi to come up with some Acc., but to no avail.

I feel your pain! Kawi needs to get it together.

 

Looking at the website, it looks like some things are in the works, but really how long does it take when the machine has not changed.

 

I have contacted nearly a dozen dealers in my state of Wisconsin, and many of them have contacted Kawi with our concerns. Kawi's standard phrase is that testing accessories is a long process and they give no time frame for things like windshields, bags, etc. for the Brutes. It is very disheartening and will affect my next ATV purchase for sure. The machines nowadays are so close mechanically, reliablity-wise, etc. that something like an solid accessory lineup will affect people's purchases. Roofer, me and you are not alone. My father-in-law is starting to lure me more towards AC each month he adds on a shiny new accessory not available for my machine.
