Default I've gone and done it...

I pick up my 07 BF 750 Lime Green tomorrow morning. Cant wait to get it. BTW - what is the proper break in on it?

Default I've gone and done it...

I think its half throttle for 10 hours or 100 miles or something like that. Maybe its a certain # of gas tanks.

Default I've gone and done it...

the owners manuel recommends 10 hours of no more than half throttle. I've always used the ride it like you stole it technique. i know a guy that did the half throttle for 10 hours and my motor doesent sound as clean as his but I do actually pull just a little more than he does.

Default I've gone and done it...

Ride it like you stole it. Full throttle is OK just don't do any long full throttle runs a second or two will be fine. Do that for a few tanks of fuel before you try any extended WOT runs. Everyone that I know that has tried the 1/2 throttle thing has actually wound up with lower compression that the same bike with the drop the hammer break in. The main thing is no more that 1 or 2 seconds of WOT for the first few tanks then gouge on it.
