Default 360 KVF (Prarrie)

Hi folks....I just purchased the '07 KVF 360 4X4 (prairie) and I've found the primer **** on the left side of the carb. I'm here up in Canada and all our sleds have primer *****...but the primer **** is totally unreachable on this bike w/o getting a screwdriver and removing some panelling! Seems like a real afterthought and really dumb. Although it states that primer is only used for -20 C that is still a real temperature for me up here. Has anyone seen this ...is there an aftermaket extension kit for the primer?

i have not heard of any aftermarket extensions. Full choke i would imagine would get the beast to life in the cold. Works fine for me when im near 0 degree temps.

I have a 2006 with the same problem. I also live in Canada. Last year did not need to use primer only the choke.
I had that question with the dealer I purchased the machine from and was told if you have to use the primer use a long screw driver or stick. You may flood the engine if you use it the way the manual tells us to.
I would sugest you keep an eye on the exhaust vavle. When you come to a stop and the engine stops to this may be your problem. This is from experiance. Denbigh57 Good luck and have fun

Hello denbigh....did you end up burning up your exhaust valve? I suppose this to be common with this machine?

harry 1. No I did not burn the exhust valve, got lucky on this one. It took 1 year for the people in con cern to get this figured out. Now it runs tooo good. Have fun with your play toy. Do you have tracks for it I do . You can go any where with them, slower than a sled b
,you only need one machine .
