It has been well worth it for me. What you gain with either bf750 or bf650 are the following:
Power: Only the can-am outy 800 makres more, but are simular.
Torque: Again, only the can-an outy 800 makes more, but are simular.
4WD System: IMO, has the best due to the progressive locker. It does however doesn't enguage quickly.
Comfort: Works great for me
Slow riding: Works great
Fast riding: Fairly good, but aftermarket socks will help it.
Mudding: Really shines here with some aftermarket mud tires and the power on tap.
Realiability: Top notch. I have owned several kawies and no problems other than ones I did.
The kawie v-twins are "detuned" per say to the point there are several aftermarket hop ups to increase the power, torque, response, etc. And, their are several "big-bore" kits you can add for even more power. The power capability on these v-twins are endless.
Some of the cons I have noticed are the following:
Bump steer: I have heard the 06 and 07 models are better than my 05 model.
Ride: Fast riding, my front will dive slightly. A set of aftermarket shocks will solve this.
4WD system: Is probably the best except the enguagement takes a few rotations of the front wheels and must be done below 15mph.
All in all, a kawie 750bf or 650bf is the most bang for you buck. You get amazing power that only can-am outy 800 can compete. And, the progressive locker on the 4wd system is wonderful as well as the price tag.

I ended up going with the 650i becuase I wanted to get aftermarket wheels and tires. The stock wheels and tires aren't going to do you any good in teh snow or mud. The 650i had enough power for me and I was able to get a set of 14" wheels and 27" swamplite tires for the same price as the 750i.

There are people who own 750's who will argue. I have both a 05 750i and a 06 650i, both in camo color (witch doesn't make a hill of beens) There is very little if any diff. in power between the two. I would take a 650i any day of the weak over the 750i just because of the price diff with so little gain in power. If you were to put 750 decals on a 650 most people wouldn't be able to tell the diff. They are that close. There is something about the 06 and newer 650i that really makes them run good. It is hard to explain but the 06 and newer 650i gets my vote. My 05 750i can get a new owner.

Nessa, I have a Eiger 400 manual. I also bought a brute force for more power, and have loved it ever since. I bought the 650i to save money but it is so powerful! I dont think you would go wrong with a brute, good luck!

A 650i or 750 are well worth it, but like already stated, get some rims and tires for your riding conditions. When comparing the 650 to the 750, you have to compare same year machines. Of course a brand new model 06 650i will be impressive compared to a '05 750 stock for stock. Either one would probably be awesome with a moose module or cdi and some good wheel/tire combo.
IMO, the brutes and Sportsmans are made more for mud than the Bomb or KQ. A brute with a cdi will turn tires better than the rest. If you go real big with tires, add a clutch kit.
