Hey 55, any chance you're riding in the rodeo on May 27th? I show up out of Calgary every year and have a blast.

Anyhow, I've tried the VDI and the Dynatek. Dynatek feels seat of the pants stronger, but not much difference. The problem with the VDI is that short of putting it in a plastic bag you can't keep it dry. Almost the instant that you hit water or spin in water the bike starts to stumble bad. I tried dielectic grease, silicone, you name it. The Dynatek fits the stock mounts as well. You are giving up the ability to program but Dynatek seems to have it spot on IMO.

I ran a few slip ons and settled on the Muzzy full system. I feel that it gives the best power throughout the rpm range. You have to check out the twins at lteracing.com. They are spendy but look real good. Apparently they make the best high rpm power but take a little away in the midrange. If you don't want to spend the cash on a full system I will have a Penland slip on for sale chicken louie. It is for a KVF 700 so I'm not sure it will fit. Maybe someone else can answer that.

Ya I dont wanna go with the VDI, I heard its expensive, I was wondering more about the moose and the dynatek. I got a friend with a dynatek and i was just wondering if the moose one was better. As for the Pipe, is the muzzy loud?, also wondering about the HMF slipon or the Big Gun? Um im looking at putting some tires on it also, im looking at either 27 in Kenda Excutinoer or 28in Swamp Lites, or maybe some 28in 589's.

As for the rodeo im not ridiing in it so far, i dont know if its full, if its not i can probably get some guys with 750s to go in, but my step dad is thou, the've got second the last 2 times hes riding an 800 sportsman with 26in mudzilla's and true dual exhaust.

The Muzzy isn't any louder that one of the slip ons without a quiet core. Certainly louder that stock.

I'm a Mud Lite guy for all around mudding. In that part of the country if you get too aggressive on rubber you will spin to the frame in one tire revolution.

Tell Sid hi from Don. The rodeo us full but if you went on stand by you might get in. We need more Kawisakis to do battle with the Outlanders. Eddie and his gang will be tough this year.

i went with the dyna cdi and big gun full system and i couldnt be happier. big gun is better built than the hmf(my opinion) not as loud as hmf but on the same level as muzzy maybe, also cheaper in price than the muzzy(got mine for $330) also it looks very durable and fit nicely.

as for the cdi i chose the dyna, works great and is best bang for the buck($180 or $190). there is a moose one now that is just a dyna with a moose sticker. the vdi is nice but very expensive(better if your are gonna do internal engine mods). all cdi's are plug and play. these 3 are different than modules(moose, highlifter, dg5) modules only do the bottom end while cdi do the entire rpm range, eliminate reverse overide, and belt light/limp mode. the moose and highlifter are now plug and play while dg5 is a splice/hardwire.

hey there don, ya ill tell Sid you say hi. did u hear what eddie tried doing to his bomb? if you didn't ill tell you, he tried to put nos on it, it got around 90hp and things blew up. i think its back to stock now. he just threw some 29.5 outlaws on it, looks pretty good. As for the pipe for my bike i think im going with the HMF pipe and the Dynatek CDI. Im still throwing my hands in the air for what i should get for tires.

The old Kawi beat him in a drag race last year on motor without hitting my NOS. I think he is trying to get me back this year. I have a second 730 coming that should do 85hp on motor, so I'll be ready. Sorry to hear he blew, don't wish that on anybody.

Did you want to have a look at the Penland that I have for sale? Penland is essentially HMF's high end slip on for the Kawis. It replaces the rear head pipe but uses the OEM fromt pipe. I'll sell if for $.50 on the dollar if you are.

You're not going to get the full benefit of the pipe and CDI without a good clutch kit.

Whats the best clutch kit out there for the BF750? I talked to my dealership and they that one there putting in is just a spring and it happens to work really good.
