750 brute top speed restriction
Thanks guys for all the input. I am going to buy a Dynatek CDI and give it a try. It sounds like it is what I am looking for. First I have to replace the back window in my truck. I just put the bike through it while trying to load it on. Just my luck. Thanks again.

You won't be disappointed with the decision to purchase a Dynatek. I bought one for my 2006 BF 650i, and I can hit 74mph all day long. That is entirely too fast to be going on a quad of this size, but its nice to know it's there... Just in case

First of all welcome Nova Scotia; Mr. Trooper1947 doesn't know much about the Kawi V-twin... This motor is as close to indestructable as they come..... When I started to build my V-twin I took it to a reliable builder who said this thing is pullet proof.. I'm now doing 54 hp to the rear wheels and 10,200 RPM on the dyno (04 KFX700). The motor flat sings, it will take Nitrous even a blower (check out MetalAlien in the Kawi section). The last thing you'll have to worry about is the motor.. Tranny maybe, and also finding a way to keep your front wheels in contact with the ground.... Do what's right for you and don't go beyond your ability.....That's one heavy bike so be safe..

I have a stock CDI on my kfx730 is does 91-92mph in about 500 feet or less.. I don't think the CDI is holding you back as much as you think.
radar run at 91mph..
