Rear paddles on P650

Is it possible to have paddles on the rear and nobbies on the front and still be able to use 4wd?

Absolutely. The only thing you need to do is make sure the tires are the same size. By the same size I mean are the same hight. What are you running paddles for racing, deep sand, both? Where are you riding at?

I'm riding at Little Sahara Dunes, in Oklahoma. The sand up there is deep and sugary. I raced a little last weekend just to try out my new CDI. My cousin's 100% stock 2006 P650 beat me and he out weighs me by 100#'s. The 27# Bighorns, winch, and Warn bumper didn't help any. The tires just spin like crazy! I just wanted to improve traction and weight with the paddle tires. Since Bighorns seem to be a little taller than other 25"tires I'm hoping a little difference in height won't hurt.

I've been to Little Sahara and am planning on going back the first of May. If you still have your stock fronts I'd put them on for LS. The last time I went I ran stock tires all the way around with about 3lbs in the rear and about 4 in the front. I had absolutely no trouble getting around and climbing hills. If you have paddles I'd definately run them but you can get by without them.
