Default Mudlite wear???

WOW don't recognize too many names anymore, guess I have been gone a while LOL

Many changes in my life the past few years, some bad divorce and some good the best is I now live on 300 acres and can ride when ever I want! Althought I can never seem to find the time, whats up with that?

Anyway... onto the dilema. I have 1300 miles on my Mudlites, put them on when the Prairie had 0 miles on it and I've liked them, they've been a great tire for my riding style and conditions however the rears have worn down considerably for some reason and the carcass is starting to "crack" between the lugs. I can't keep air in them anymore and have plugged several times.

Money is tight, as always and the fronts have minimal wear. So... I'm looking at replacing just the rears but do I get another pair of what I had and by the time these are worn again it'll be time for all 4 and try something new or switch to the radial Mudlites for the rear?

Suggestions...

The original mudlites tend to wear fast, my buddies wore down in a matter of 9 1/2 months of riding pretty steady. That made me stray away and get the Swamplites. But i heard the XTRs are good.

Yep, I'll be replacing them with the ssame size 26's so there shouldn't be an issue with that. They'll be slightly taller cuz they're new but they're also slight shorter now cuz they're worn more than the fronts. Wonder how that happened LOL

For the money I'm just going to replace them with the original Mudlites instead of the radials. They be expensive and be happy with another 4 years and 1300 miles.

Thanks!
