hello, once again i am back in atv's/i have a ? for u?

my brother in law has a 2001 mojave.

1)when we go to use the headlights ,its very dim,but when you give it gas,it gets brighter?i am thinking the stator is bad????

2)when you make a sharp turn with the quad,it wants to bog out n die and sometimes it does?when you are going straight,its fine!i was thinking maybe the petcock is clogged or ther eis dirt in the bottom of the tank??

 

1). Stator should put out about 14 volts and 13 amps at 4000 rpm.
2). Check the fuel line around the handle bar / steering stem area for any kind of routing problem - such as the fuel line getting pulled when handle bar is turned sharply.

 

That is normal for the head light. It does not have a battery. so when you rev it it's producing more power to the bulb.
