I haven't been on here for a while but was wondering what the big differences were between the two, besides the fuel injection.

Is the power strong on the 08 model compared to the 07 or previous models? Also, some are saying that the new model rides better too.

I'm not sure if I want to buy new or not, but was just gathering some opinions.

The suspension is revised (shocks are upgraded and the stearing is better) and it has more throttle response...The efi makes it more snappy.. The new 08 has a little more juice than the 07 stock.

 

I had the '05BF750, now the '07BF750 & very soon a '08BF750.
The '08BF750 has these improvements that I noticed after I rode one the same day I was out on my '07 BF.
Much lighter thumb throttle, so light your thumb will never get sore, softer seat, handles better, light steering, instant throttle response, sits a little lower but handles better b/c of the lower ride.

 

Handles better, sits lower, better acceleration(efi)

 

I got a 07 with just a moose module and it will hang with a. 08 no problem, but if you want a softer ride and NEED efi go for it. You can't go wrong either way.
