KFX 80 won't start

I have a Kawasaki KFX 80 2 stroke atv. It was ridden last week, we went through some water. Now it won't start. It will crank, but very slowly, not enough to turn the engine over. The battery is ok. Any ideas?

KFX 80 won't start

Check the compression first before attmepting to do anything else.

KFX 80 won't start

This was only the second ride since I had new piston, crank bearings, and seal installed. Can't believe it would need more work already!!
