Default prairie 650 tires

What size tires can I fit under my 2003 prairie without a lift kit? I'm looking at 27". Anybody have any suggestions for tires? Anybody know if the ignition mods are worth the money? My buddy has a 750 BF and he can take me off the line by about 1 1/2 lenghts but off a rolling start we stay even. I would like to get a 750 but I really don't want IRS.

I put 27" ITP 589's on my Brute force 650 SRA. I love them. They are very heavy but seem to ride smooth and do well in the mud. No complaints so far. There a lots of choices for tires, almost too many!

I got the same set up as nix. 27" ITP 589s on a BF650 SRA. Great tires. I don't regret my choice one bit.

I had 27" Mudrunner's on my stock '03P650, no problems at all but I did notice that the 27" tires rob power. The Biggest size I do anymore is the 26", even for my BF750.

I put 26 in STi tires on a 2002 650 Prarie. No loss of power and they run great. Got them from Dick's ATV, for $429 included mounted on new steel rims. That included shipping and new stems.

picked up 27" Dirt Devils on SS108's, I love the axle clearance gain and aggressive look, they are a little heavy but I think the 650 v-twin can handle it.
