01 mojave carb problem
 

i have an 01 mojave 250 it runs great but spits gas out back of carb and if i put the air tube on it wont start even with air filter out any one have any ideas

You will get a little gas from the engine pulses blowing it back, but it should only be a tiny amount, if it won't start with the tube on, sounds like your float is sunk or out of adjustment,and you are very rich,so it needs an open carb to start. I would start by pulling the carb and cleaning and adjusting it so everything is in spec, then put the tube and filter back on and see how it goes.
