08 kfx450 won't crank after cleaning wiring
 

me and my friend were out riding the other day and it started raining and the thing started cutting in and out and would take forever to start back up. After finally getting back noticed that half the time the fuel pump relay wasn't kicking on. The wiring harness and connectors were really nasty so I decided to take off the harness completely power wash it and clean the connectors and stuff up. The harness had been wore down in one spot in the front and 2 same colored wires were exposes cut resoldered shrink wrapped and taped everything up nice. Put some dielectric grease in/on the connectors so they wouldn't get corroded and nasty again (blew everything out with air compressor after the washing) and put it all back together. Now I get clicking on the two main relays but the fuel pump relay doesn't do anything, the guage lights aren't lit up and it will not even kick over the starter now. I can't imagine what the hell this could be as the main fuse is getting good power and there's not that many connections. Anybody have any ideas where to look? It's my friends quad and I live a few states away and can't go look at it. I'm trying to run through all the connections in my head but not coming up with anything and he's not very good with electrical issues.
