1995 bayou 220 carb
#1
I just bought a 220 bayou and had to rebuild the carb. Now when i try to run it, it bogs every time i give it gas. It's like a dead spot. If i feather it it works better but not right. I had to ride back and pretty much let the choke control the speed. Any ideas??
Thanks.
Thanks.

Sounds like the pilot jet is plugged, that controls your bottom end, does it start hard or barely idle/die a lot? All those point to a gummed up pilot jet. Also, what is your fuel mix screw set to? how many turns out from gently seated? a good starting point is 2 - 2.5 turns out.
