Hey guys I'm installing a OME speedometer on my 03 prairie i have found the black bag containing the conector plugs on the left side of the atv and connected the wires. The problem im running into is trying to keep the speedometer in place in the cut out hole. the speedometer came with a bracket on the back of it but i could not find a spot to brace it on and when i put the speedometer on with out the bracket it sat better but moves in and out when i turn the handle bars anyone know how to fix this problem or have a solution?

 

PhilG here is the diagram for the handlebar assembly. Not sure if you have seen this or not, but thought something here might look familiar and give you an idea of how it should work. OEM Parts

I'm not real familiar with that specific ATV, but I can try and find out more for you if this doesn't help.

 

Thank you gearheadatv! That diagram helped me out it showed me how the bracket is suppose to be placed on the speedometer and inserted! I'm going to take the speedometer out this weekend and reinsert it the proper way! Thanks again!
